I'd like to set all my files in windows explorer to show details along with date created and date modified.

Now i can do it by selecting each folder and sub folder manually and setting these things, but i'd just like to make it so all my files show this info even for newly created files.

I tried setting one and the selecting "apply to folders" in tools/folder options, but that doesnt do it.

Theres got to be a way to make this the "default" view and info for all files.

i liked to view all my folders in "details" view in xp, and didn't care for vistas new setup either. I also tried "apply to all folders" to no avail.
