How do I log in as admin? (XP Pro)

Well, up until now we've just been using the default sIngle-user account - guess that was administrator. When I created another account, that's the only one I can select and all the old settings are hidden away. (I know they're still there.)

2000 I'd just log in as Admin.... any easy way to duplicate that account and log in regularly, choosing one of the two?

I'm currently copying the documents and setting/admin folder to a duplicate account... I seem to recall that from somewhere.... cloning users?

Go to Control Panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on or off > uncheck Use Welcome Screen > click OK. Log off and you can type in the username just like in 2000. Use the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard to transfer your junk from Administrator to your new account. Then check to use the Welcome Screen again if you like it that way.

Press Ctrl+Alt+Delete two times on the welcome screen. Use 'Administrator' as the user name and put in the password you used for it.

Open My Computer and browse to the Administrator folder in the Documents and Settings folder. Right-click on this folder and select Sharing and Security. Uncheck Make Private. Click Ok. Now you will be able to copy the files to the other id.
