I have a viewsonic 22inch that does 1600x1200 at 99hz. It runs at 100hz, but messes up eventually.

Are there any methods or programs to get it to lock at 99hz?

This is not the right forum for this question. And cross-posting the same question to multiple forums at the same time is generally frowned upon.

i meant to post this in technical support, they both contain the same word.

I needed an answer fast, dont pretend like you've never done it, and its not like every thread I post is in multiple threads.

I couldn't care less if its frowned upon, as long as it doesnt ruin my trading rep or get me banned.

You should care, because if we frown, it might result in your banning.

Download a program called Powerstrip, this will allow you to set custom refresh rates to whatever you want.

does the monitor have an inf file at its website? it's pretty much a driver file that will tell windows what refresh rates your monitor can display at which resolutions. If it is just set for plug and play monitor or generic monitor, it will continue to display this. or you could just get powerstrip and use that.
