I want to be able to listen to MP3's off my home computer on my work computer (don't want to download Mp3's onto work comp). Just like have something like a webpage and click on a link, and it plays the MP3. Don't know if Shoutcast can do this, it seems like it just plays a preset playlist. Any suggestions to the easiest way?

How about activating a web server? Windows 2000 and XP come with IIS, which might be the best solution. Just browse into your computer and stream it from WinAmp.

Burn them onto a couple of CDs? That's the easiest way.
At work we can tell when people start listening to the various internet radio stations. Network takes a huge hit.

1. streaming vs 2. actual file playing ?

1. install winamp shoutcast and run it on your home pc to serve mp3
2. share the folder so u can access your home pc..

3. if u are in to geek type, search for "edna" in google, I still haven't figure out how to set up though
