how do i let Linux "See" a ntfs partition?

is this called mounting? I have drives C:, E:, and F: that i'd like linux to be able to see, but it will only "see" my linux partition.

your kernel has to have the ntfs driver built in or loaded as a module. then you need to mount it somewhere
