how do i know wich version of the borad i have os i can get the bios update for my ecs k7s5a

There's only one legacy of BIOS updates for this board, covering all the revisions and versions out there. With the latest two releases, you don't even have to care about whether you got the w/LAN or w/o LAN version.

PCB _revision_ you mean. I told you above.

For everyone:

Revisions are the forward moves in product improvement: 1.x, 2.x, 3.x ...
Versions are the sidesteps taken on one given revision: w/ LAN, w/o LAN, 2- or 4-channel sound, whatever.

Revision not version. AND IT DOESN'T MATTER 'CAUSE THERE IS ONLY ONE BIOS TO CHOOSE FROM.

voodoo33500, new k7s5a bios works with either version/revision 1.X and 3.X of the mobo.
