how do I know which video card I have?

how do I check if the video card I bought from newegg is an x800 or x800xl? I ordered the oem powercolor x800xl from them, but I want to make sure it's an x800xl. When I check in device manager, all it says is x800 series.

Try downloading the appropriate version of Rivatuner for your video card; it has a place where you can check chip ID, memory, pipes, etc.

Download Lavalys Everest Home Edition. It should tell you the number of pipelines the videocard has; and it's clock speeds. If it's 16 and 400/980, it's x800xl.

ah it does say x800xl under 3d accelerator in everest, and it also has 16 pixelpipelines... phew, got worried there for a sec. thanks for the help
