how do i know what kind of motherboard that i have?


Go here, and click on the link that says "Bios Numbers"...you can either identify your manufacturer by the bios number itself, or download a couple of utilities that can do it for you (on that page as well). One, called "ctibios1.5" is a German utility, but the results it prints out are easily read. It may tell you your manufacturer.
