How do I know if Video Card doesn't have a fan?

One of my aims for my future system is to minimize the sound my tower makes.
Due to the fact that I am no longer in the "gaming" age (I sound like i am old man lol), I decided it would be best for me not to go for best and most powerful video card there is at the moment.

Initially I didn't even want to get a dedicated video card and wanted integrated to minimize the sound...but a good friend of mine told me that if I go integrated, I might have my system lag/chuck on times when viewing HD content...or when using Vista's Aero interface...and so on.

So I thought it would be best for me to go for a video card that is much more powerful than integrated video card...but at the same time not expensive.
Basically here are my priorities:

- There will be no gaming whatsoever. No longer interested in playing games
- I do want to watch HD movies at one point
- I do plan to install Vista and have all the eye-candy turned up. I like "mac-style" eye candy
- I don't plan to record HD or anything like that.
- I want it to be silent (very very very quiet)

The video card will be used in the following system:

CPU: 2.0GHz Intel/AMD dual core Processor
RAM: 2GB of DDR RAM
HDD: Probably 250 or 320GB SATA Drive
Mobo: Whatever mobo I can find on sale

As you can see...a typical budget system without anything fancy...so any suggestions.
And few quick questions based on the things I said above:

1) Is it true that Integrated video card will lag if viewing HD content/Vista Aero? I really want to keep my costs to minimum thats why I want to go with integrated.
2) Is there any classification for fan-less video cards? I seem to have trouble searching for one at websites.
3) Are fan-less video cards much cheaper than fan'ed ones?

On question 3: Fanned video cards are cheaper than fanless, because fanless require you to have a big giant heatsink in order to maintain operative temperatures without active cooling.

On question 2: I don't believe there's any difference in sorting at Newegg for fanless. Just look at the pictures.

As for question 1: It's ALWAYS better for performance to offload graphics work to a graphics card.

Since you're planning on watching HD content and playing no games, I would recommend an 8400GS or HD2400.
