How do i know if my duron is multiplier unlocked

I am getting my duron600 with the asus a7v(with the multiplier dipswitch). How do i check wheter my duron is unlocked?

Use the dipswitches on the A7V for a lil overclock, if it works you're golden. If it doesn't your golden...err golden bridges I mean. ;) Ouch that was weak...

But you get the picture.

Simple direct answer....today, yes.

But slight caveat....in the future AMD &quot;might&quot; decide to break the
links internally....always the possibility however slight.
To verify, check for continuity between L1 bridges and cpu pins
AN27, AL27, AN25, AL25. If no connections, locked.
