How do I know if I have CAS 2 or CAS 3 memory?

Hello.

The subject says it all. 🙂

I couldn't figure out anything based on the markings of the memory stick itself, so I was wondering if there was a program, or something along those lines, that would tell me if I have CAS 2 or 3.

I'm running Win98, btw.

I wouldn't trust Sandra on this one.

It currently tells me my Mushkin Rev.2 pc-133 is CAS3 up to 133. And CAS2 up to 85mhz.

Currently, i'm at 142fsb cas2.

I wouldn't trust Sandra either.

It says have 128MB Pc133 and 64MB PC100, though everything's running at 133 cas 2 no prob. Both chips are Micron PC133 7.5ns chips so I don't know what it's saying (said the chips were something else entirely)

I was told to just try Cas2 and if it works, cool, if not, it won't boot correctly. Not really any room for damage I guess 🙂

I guess trial and error have to do for now?
Since we seem to have so many ppl vouching for the inaccuracies of Sandra, are there any other programs that can correctly tell you what kind of memory you have?
