You know you have ADD if you start a jigsaw puzzle and end up riding your bike 5 minutes after.

seriously, is it something you will know for sure that you have it?

I was hoping I had it so i had an excuse for my poor grades so far in college..... to explain to grad or professional schools

I think I'm just a dumbass. Yup.

It's impossible to have something that doesn't exist.

Not doing your homework and not going to class does not mean you have ADD :) Those first two are the reasons I didn't do that well in school.

Don't listen to the people here. I'd ask your GP about getting tested/screened for it. Or if you have medical insurance you could always look in the phone book for a psychiatrist to get yourself tested. I did it and was prescribed medication for Adult ADD. It helps but not a whole lot.

Damn, says "bases on the results to the questions asked, you should consult your Doctor immediatly for treatment" :(

The Questions are soo leading and any normal person would answer yes to most iof not all of them. ADD is a sham.

1. How often do you have trouble wrapping up the final details of a project, once the challenging parts have been done?
2. How often do you have difficulty getting things in order when you have to do a task that requires organization?
3. How often do you have problems remembering appointments or obligations?
4. When you have a task that requires a lot of thought, how often do you avoid or delay getting started?
5. How often do you fidget or squirm with your hands or your feet when you have to sit down for a long time?
6. How often do you feel overly active and compelled to do things, like you were driven by a motor?
