How do I kill the Task Scheduler?

I know I've done it in the past, but I can't remember how to get rid of this app (or at least how to get it out of the system tray). Just installed Windows again, and I thought I'd gotten rid of it.

Well??? How do ya?

Thanks. 😉

OK - I tried both of those things. (I had tried them before...)

It's STILL THERE!!! lol

Under msconfig, I am disabling "scheduling agent" - is there something else I am missing?

I don't get it. The thing won't die!!!

did you select selective startup & did you reboot after making the changes to see if the scheduler appeared or not?

Ok... I did have selective startup checked, but I went in and switched it back to normal, rebooted, and then changed it back, and I finally killed the f***** thing. 😀

Gracias amigos!!! 😉
