I dont want a new window to ever open when I click a link in FireFox, I want just a new tab to open. How/where to I make it only open links in a new tab instead of a new window?
 
the Tabbrowser extension can handle it automatically for you. Any link that would go to a new window is redirected to a new tab. I'm sure there's other lighterweight extensions that can do this as well.
