How do I install WinXP Pro over a network?

I have a laptop that doesn't have a CD-ROM Drive, and I need to install Windows XP Pro on it. The laptop does have the capability to boot from the network (using PXE or whatever it is called). I also have a Linksys Router with DHCP enabled and a PC with XP Pro connected to the router.

What do I need to do to be able to install XP Pro over the network? What kind of software do I need?

Any help would be appreciated.

Thank You.

RIS would require server2003 installed...thats alot of work for 1 PC

Try making a BartPE USB stick, then you can copy the I386 folder from the Cd to it and run the install from the USB stick.....lappy does have USB?

The laptop doesn't have the option to boot from a USB device.

I have heard that you can take the hard drive out and start the XP setup on another laptop. Then at one point, turn off the computer and put the hard drive back into the original laptop and continue the setup from there, without the XP CD... is that possible?
