How do I install Windows 98 after installing Windows 2000?

I'd like to be able to use Windows 98 on my Windows 2000 machine. I do intend to do a fresh install of Windows 2000 (I'm due) but don't want to hassle it this week. Can I install Windows 98 in a partition and dual boot? I heard there's a way. My Windows 2000 is on the C: partition but I have lots of partitions and several HDs. Thanks!

The usual way to dual boot is to install the oldest OS first Win98 and then 2k next.

If you aren't going to remove 2k first you may need something like boot magic or similar.

If you're going to reinstall 2K anyway, do things the right way and install 98 first. Yes, it's possible the other way, but it's significantly more hassle.

OK, I guess I better do it that way. It's been, hmmm, almost 11 months since I last installed W2K. I guess I have to make my C: partition FAT32 and then either install Win98 on it or install it in another FAT32 partition, then install W2K. I have another machine that multiboots Win98, WinNT 4 and W2K, and none are on C. C on that machine is 1 GB, only has a shared paging file of around 850 MB, and boot files and a few other things. It's FAT.
