How do i install Win XP?

The hard drive is brand new on this computer even!

I set the cd-rom to the first boot device.

I put in the XP pro disc and press enter and it gives me an error.

"Please enter atapi install cd."

What did i do wrong?

And what do i do?

I have a lan party tomorrow and REALLY wanted to use this computer.

Is that the exact error message? Is it a burned copy of WinXP?

Sounds like it's looking for drivers for your cd rom.
You have it hooked up correctly?
Try installing the driver disc that would have come with your mobo.(probably can't do this before windows, but gotta try something).
