How Do I install multiple version of IE and Netscape?

Is this possible? I know that this is possible with netscape since I am running 4.7 and 6.0 PR3.

Do I just need to install the web browser into different directories?

Btw, do you know where I can get my hand on

IE 4.0
Netscape 3.0

I know with NS you can just install into different directories.

IE4 & IE5 can be run simultaneously. When you do a custom install, there is an advanced option that allows you to do this.

I just installed IE 5 (whatever came with Win 98) and Netscape 4.7 to their default directories and then configured each one. I use IE 5 and the wife uses Netscape. Both work fine.

But in my opinion you should not bother with people that are using Netscape 3.0. If they don't care to upgrade why should you bother to make their lives easier. I see it as enabling them.

you can install IE 4& 5 - via the competability mode in custom-setup-mode...

I have tried it once - and it worked for a while...but when your system starts to go up to the big ... in the sky - that dual IE setup REALLY helps it to go there much much FASTER 🙂
