how do i install a 2nd hard drive?

Just boughta 120 gig hd for my Dell 8200. Are there instructions somewhere how to install it?

Set your jumpers to Slave. Bust open your case, mount it in the harddrive cage, connect power and ide cable. Boot up with a win98 startup disk, type "FDISK" without the quotes, create a partition and format your harddrive, reboot and your good to go. You hard drive probably came with some software to install it, that will work to.
 
Oh if you are new at this a good Idea is to disconnect the master HD before doing an Fdisk and format...Numerous people on this BBS have screwed up by Formatting the wrong drive 🙁
