I would say that getting more excersise will help out with the out of breath part. While I do not have any sort of scientific evidence for this, I think that holding your breath for longer and longer times helped with the total capacity of your lungs. (when the summer rolls around, I tend to hold my breath a lot for the underwater stuff. Over a couple of weeks of that I notice that I can hold it for longer peiods of time. Don't know if that is because I am just getting used to holding my breath or if there is actually more air in there though)
<< Why are you short of breath? Are you overweight? Have you talked to your doctor? >>
Yeah, that is actually good advice. Talk to your physician to see what they recommend. If your short of breath on just doing regular everyday activities, it may be a health problem.
stop smoking, less drinking, less eating fatty food ... hermm, consult your physician, then hop on a rowing machine, a bicycle, or go swimming or runnning, or practice any martial arts (kung fu) .. whatever you like best
