my pc is so SLOW some times it just stops and the task manager shows the cpu usage %100. Why? Its a p3-1ghz 8100 inspiron dell. I does it ALOT. I just fresh installed, got 320 ram (256crusial-other bo-bo dell) I Know that photoshop, Illustrator, Macromedia got an excuse, but opening interbrowers, (myie2)... come on! HELP. any suggestions?

Lately, myie2 sucks @ss. I really liked it before, but the newest edition blows. I took over my regular IE. Seems fishy. Makes me like Firebrand(mozilla) more.

would maxing out to 512 memory really help? or is 320 ok. Should be.... My desktops got 256 one stick, 2200, NO overclock and it Flies.

Sugestions???
 
Take a look in Task Manager at your Total Commit Charge. If that is bigger than the amount of RAM installed, then you will probably need more 🙂

Which processes are running the CPU at 100%? You can see which it is, then you can eliminate those programs, see if it continues to play up 🙂

I haven't used MyIE2, but a lot of people like Firebird, me included. I have been using it almost excusively for about 6 months, and I haven't got a bad thing to say about it! 🙂
