I don't want to delete them off my friends list, but honestly some people are just really annoying with their status updates. I have a few of them that feel the need to constantly update their status with useless mundane shit like "mom has baked a nice cake" or "Have sore belly". It's becoming like fricking Twitter.

I don't see an ignore function?

Doesn't that just hide that comment?

If not, thanks. I'll try that. So simple if so. How embarrassing. :p

you can also hide specific applications (for instance, I don't give a crap about my friends' mobwars and bejeweled updates)

Note: If you have an iPhone, hiding people on the website does not hide them in the app. This has led to me deleting several "friends."

De-friend works everytime on a personal site.

What's not so simple is you have an organization site where ppl sign up as fans. You can't remove fans. They post spam on your page. Nothing you can do other than write them and ask them to remove themselves....Hassle!

Because simply ignoring people is sometimes easier than saying "I don't like you".
