How do I identify when a software was installed?

I'm running XP Home. I've a software named MSXML Parser 6.0 installed and I'm trying to identify which software it came with. I did not install it so I'm stumped. There's no folder called MSXML (or similar) in Program Files or Windows directory.

How do I identify when MSXML Parser 6.0 was installed? I like to keep my system clean so I prefer not to use 3rd party software to this simple job. Your help is appreciated.

I tried using the XP search feature to look for MSXML. There's a few MSXML.dll listed but all were created before 2006. I did a clean install a few weeks back so those .dll presumedly came with XP. Any thoughts?

I'm aware of that fact but it's listed under the Add/Remove Programs utility and I did not install it. Back to my original question, how do I identify when MSXML Parser 6.0 was installed?
