I have cable modems, and I would like to host my own websites/email. please show me or point me the right directions.

my web host provider screwed me up, reall need this asap. thanks, very much appreciate any help.
 
Many of the cable ISP's will not allow you to have a server of any kind, and you might be violating your TOS to set up a public server. These ISP's regularly port scan for servers (comcast/attbi does for sure), and will shut down your connection after 1 warning.
