How do I hook up this BNC cable?

Ok, so I got this used iiyama monitor that has BNC connectors. The guy gave me a BNC cable to go with it, and already had it plugged it in for me. Now there is an additional wire coming out from the monitor end of the cable, that he said is a ground wire. It has the little metal loop thingy on the end, instead of the large round metal connector (that is on the other five cables that go into the monitor). He said it was for grounding the monitor, but left me with the job of plugging it in. And I don't have the slightest idea where it goes. Any ideas?

i use a BNC cable for my monitor too. although it doesn't have a ground on it. i don't think it's necessary really, and i've never seen a monitor with a grounding screw on it anyway, so i would just leave it dangling. if the monitor performance is good, don't worry about it.
