How do I hook up the Xbox in PROSCAN, my picture is all distorted.

I have the Monster cable component and optical cables. I know all about HomeTheater so I know I have it hooked up correctly but my image is extremly distorted and can hardly even make out the picture. I used the composite cables(just to see menu) to go into the menu system but I only found full/letter/wide for video settings. Is there anything else that needs to be done to turn on the PROSCAN feature or do I just turn on the unit with the cables matched up and see PROSCAN on my HDTV.

I know with the Gamecube that the red button needs to be held as you turn on the unit, does the Xbox have some sort of weird function like that to enable it??

1) Make sure your TV actually supports the HD standards.
2) Go into the XBox video settings and look for the "resolution selector" - I forget the name
3) Turn on the modes your TV supports (480p, 720, 1080i)
4) Load a game.

1.) Yes my TV supports it, I have a Gamecube and DVD player in ProScan.

2.) Resolution Selector?

3.)480P/1080i

4.)Loaded
