Does anyone know the steps to go about applying for a student loan?

I've paid for all my college expenses thus far (I'm a Junior now) and do not quality for any need based financial aid.

That said I am having trouble making ends meet and would like to take out a student loan. Please don't lecture me on why this is a bad idea and that I should just get a job (I have one). I've thought this through and if I could get a student loan in the $3000-$4000 range at around 5-6% it would really help me.

Does anyone know where I go to apply for it or what steps need to be taken?

I qualified for $8,500 in subsidized and $10,000 in unsubsidized Stafford loans for grad school though I'd paid for undergrad completely on my own. My school took personal expenses into account when determining my aid award and it seemed like a fair amount.

Fill your FAFSA and contact the financial aid department at your school for help.
