How do I go about overclocking this Duron...

As you can see below, I have the MSI K7t Pro 2-a, and a Duron 600 green. According to MBM 5 and the default temp readings off this motherboard, it is running at around 24 C. I unlocked the L1's and am now running the 600@650, temp reading 26 C. I repeat, I don't have a temp probe or anything just whatever is on the motherboard. Now to the real question, I guess, since I have never done this. How do I test stability? How should I step up the cpu (i.e. to 650, then 700, then 750, etc) or what.. How do I know when to increse the voltage? should I step down again after increasing the voltage? I want to determine the absolute highest, STABLE, speed for this CPU. Please help an O/C newbie ;)

*UPDATE*
I got it running stable (so far) at 1GHz... i had to up the voltage a bit to 1.75 (reads 1.76). This is good enough for today, I may try for more next week, but I am happy that it got this high :)
what is CPU Vio Select on the MSI k7T Pro 2-A ? the options are 3.3v and 3.45v ??

thanks

go ahead and increase voltage. Running anywhere close to 26 is NOTHING. Your chip will be fine temperature-wise up the mid 40 range. When it hits 50º is when you want to start worrying. You will likely have to increase the voltage, also.

Ok, I have it running 600@750 now, default voltage... MBM 5 says core voltage is 1.66v...

What programs should i use to do a max load test? for how long?

I'm gonna reboot and try 800... brb :) I'm so impatient :)

I say go ahead and set the voltage to 1.85v. Highly doubt it'll hurt anything.
