Go to go Home Depot and you'll see a group of (probably Mexican) guys standing around in the parking lot.

Alternatively, go drive by the day labor offices. Sometimes you'll see people standing around there waiting for work too.

They'll generally speak enough English to communicate.

I'd do the demolition part for free. Give me some tools and some gloves and I go to town on that bitch. :)

Find a group, then find the 'leader'.

You don't want to pick up 4 random people.. You want to find 1 person in the group who speaks decent english who then picks out the three others. You pay the leader a bit more to deal with the BS involved.

One of this days I am gonna severely punish Americans who make illegals feel welcome.
In the mean time I will sit and stew in my own anger.

I wouldnt hire just anyone to do tilework. You wont know the quality of work you'll be getting. Ask your friends and family about who they used for tilework. Same with finishing drywall. To put up drywall, fine you can day laborers. But to finish, I'd look in the yellowpages/internet for local contracting companies that does drywall installation.

You might want to find someone qualified to do that kind of work. If it was just Manuel labor it might work but if a motherfacker puttin tile in your crib get a pro.

Stop hiring them. You're only encouraging them to come here.

Most of the public health issues are brought into this country by illegal immigrants. Whooping cough for example.

OP - stop being lazy and do your own work. Have a bar-b-q, invite some of your buddies over for a work day.

I was just about to post this.. I've never seen a group of "workers" in front of Lowes of Home Depot anywhere in the KC Metro area. :hmm:
