How do I get WMV 5.1 audio onto a DVD?

I've downloaded a lot of HD trailers from the official HD-DVD site: http://www.thelookandsoundofperfect.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc

along with Windows site: http://www.microsoft.com/windows/window...candvideo/hdvideo/contentshowcase.aspx

I want them to burn them to a DVD to watch on my TV and try out my sound system. However I don't have very good DVD authoring software (I'm using WinDVD Creator 2).

I don't need anything fancy like Adobe Premier or anything like that. Just something to burn all the trailers in order with their orginal formatting.

Any help would be appreciated!

If I'm in the wrong forum please point me to the right one, thanks~!

The fundamental problem you're going to run into is that most receivers don't decode WMV audio signals at all or at least not the 5.1 version. You'd have to figure out some way to convert it to a Dolby Digital signal or another audio signal.

i think you could use BeSweet to do it. I know it can reencode audio to AC3, although I'm not sure if it will know how to keep the 5.1 audio intact.

but either way you'd have to strip the audio out of the file first.
