I have 384 mb of ram. I know there is a way to use a line of code so win98 uses all of the ram before it will store suff on the hard drive. My system used to be set up that way but it was so long ago that I did it I can't remember how. I reinstalled win 98 and want to set it up the same way. Anyone know of a website describing this or have the line of code and where is goes. Thanks.

You should really post this question in the operating system forum. It's a windows question, not a hardware question. Do a search for conservative swap file usage.

Place this line:

ConservativeSwapfileUsage=1

under 386Enh in the system.ini
