Ha, boy is this embarassing! What a newbie question...but I can't figure it out.

I have an Iwill BD133 mobo. In it, is a PIII 550@733MHz (5.5 x 133) along w/two sticks of Micron. The box runs fine, but won't do USB. I loaded the driver for my Sony USB Digicam. The driver loaded. I rebooted.

Usually, when viewing "My Computer" you plug the camera in, turn it on and "removeable disk" appears. It doesnt'. :( I went into Hardware Manager and I do not see a USB Driver or words to that effect like I do on my main rig.

There is nothing wrong with the camera; up until last week when my main rig crashed I'd been DL'd pics from the cam to it like a madman.

I DO have the Intel chipset drivers loaded. "ATA storage drivers" or somethign like that. I don't remember specifically seeing a "USB Driver" loading. I'm running W2K.

Can someone help me out, please? Thanks!

ATA storage drivers are not chipset drivers. Be sure you have the 815e chipset drivers installed. USB is enabled in the BIOS?

Hey Oldfart,

Good morning. :) Enabled in the BIOS? Duh, I didn't think of that. I did "go thru" the bios months ago when setting up the box, but don't specifically remember enabling USB. Gotta check that when I get home.

Other than that, it's just making sure the 815e drivers are loaded? I'm 99.9% sure they are. I'll check the bios when I get home. Thanks much.
