How do I get to 1600x1200 on Geforce 2

I just picked up a Magview 19" monitor at best buy. It's supposed to be capable of 1600x1200 so I wanted to try that out with my Geforce 2(CL Annihilator 2). When I go to properties, the highest setting available is 1280x1024. I have the latest detonator drivers from Nvidia. What imposes this upper resolution limit? Is it something that is detected from the monitor or is it the video card or drivers acting up?
Thanks

Set it to 'Plug and Play' monitor and Windows will recognize its maximum resolution or install the .ini file from the company's website that pertains to your brand.

It is set to plug and play currently. I haven't found a website for Magview to download drivers. The manual doesn't mention drivers and the salespeople at Bestbuy don't have a clue. I tried using 1600x1200 super VGA as a driver and one of the MagInnovision drivers without luck. Also, I noticed that even if I fix the refresh rate to 85 Hz, it goes back to 60 Hz when I play any games. Thanks for the help. Any more ideas?

It's Win98. I figured out refresh rates now. I manually set the refresh for each resolution and color depth. Still can't figure out how to get 1600x1200. I mean, it's not even a pickable option in either settings.
thanks

Hmmm... I haven't seen anything like the problems you're having. The big difference between our systems if that you have a Thunderbird and I have a Celeron running on an Abit BH6 mobo. I have the SBlive as well. I'm thinking of upgrading to Thunderbird soon though. If I come up with anything I'll let you know.
