How do I get the goverment to pay my bills while I start up my business?

I'm in the process of starting my own business and I've heard on 2 different occasions that the goverment will give you funds to pay your bills for a certain period of time while you start your business. I'm really interested in this because I'm constantly trying to take days off of work so that I can attend meetings and take care of things related to my business.

Does anyone have any information on a program like that?

Funny how Lesko doesn't tell you in his commercial that all of those programs for "free money" are loans for which you must be approved.
