I just got a pair of dark grey chinos and they have creases and it says dry clean only:disgust:

I tried to iron the creases out on low low steam but no go...

you probably should take them to a cleaners and ask them to clean them. be sure to mention you want no pleats.

Take them to a tailor and have them pressed.

Personally, I don't get the new "flat front" craze. I've never thought they looked good. Plus, the main crease in the leg just goes to nowhere instead of into the pleat as it's supposed to. Looks weird.

EDIT: I should add that chinos without the traditional vertical creases look even weirder than properly creased flat-front chinos.

Well, that may be true, but the general rule these days is no pleats/creases. That's what my style book says anyway...

i hate how pleated pants poof up when you sit. plus your butt doesn't look as good. properly made flat front pants don't have a problem.

I don't know what you mean by "poof up", I've never had pleated pants do anything that I would describe as "poofing up" when I sat.

No, just average weight/height for someone from two generations ago before the country went and got fat. :p (I'm just kidding around about the fat part.)

Seriously though, it's a friggin' pain to find pants with a 32 inch waist and 34 inch inseam.
