As the title says?
I can't figure out how to do it ....... now that it's in the case...
Thinking that maybe if I apply more/some heat transfer compound to the heatsink I might get my high FSBsettings to work stable.

With the board out of the case, you just carefully squeeze the plastic posts together that hold the HSF on the back of the board, and push them through.

EDIT:, Unless someone knows a different way, you will have to remove the board fron the case to do this, unless you plan on trying to pull the plastic posts through the front with pliers, (not advised) and re-attach the HSF with Arctic Silver thermal adhesive, or frag tape. Unless you have some extra posts around.

I have had to redo the bridges and thermal compund a few times experimenting and I figured out the EASIEST and QUICKEST way to do this removal of the CPU and HSF without removing the board and cards, etc.....

Lay the case on its side and remove the 4 screw from the power supply. Just slide it back out of the way (you will still be able to keep all your cables in tact...unless you have a small case then maybe have to unplug and physically remove it) then you have access to the HSF with a flat head screw driver to use as a lever on the clip. ALOT of people have commented that it is easier to get it off by pushing the screwdriver on the middle of the little bar holding the clip in place. This is done by slipping the screwdriver head between a couple fan blades onto the bar and pushing down.

Even if you have to actually remove the PSU, its easier than removing the board
