Sorry....didn't mean to shout. Ever since I installed windows on my new system this DAMN SCREEN keep popping up every time i boot. In windows help it says that in order to get it to go away you just click on CANCEL...well that ain't working. Any ideas?

If its the "Network login" screen then go under "network" in the control panel and select your primary logon to be "Windows Logon"...

You could try right clicking "My network Places" and select "properties" and remove "Client for Microsoft Networks" if is installed and also change the bottom box to "Windows Logon". Its a while since ive done this but this is where u will sort it with a bit of playing around with these options.
If u need to use "network logon" for your lan then try using TweakUI.
Theres an option in TweakUI to automatically logon at bootup without having to retype in your username and pass all the time 🙂

Hope this helps,

rockhard =)

For what system? W2k? Win98/Me?

Win98/Me - go to control panel and play with the network properties. Can't remember what the hell it is as it's been awhile since I've used Win98. I think there's a drop down list of 2 options. One is windows login and the other network login (I think).
You don't want the network login.

W2k - you can't.
