im going for either a 20inch iMac or a similarly spec'd mac book pro

i've been told i can order one from my university's students union building, apparently apple's servers recognise that its from a uni and applys the discount accordingly, i took that with a pinch of salt

the next way, is to use an NUS card, which ill need to order since our uni combined the NUS and Uni swipe card into one and thus it doesnt have the required NUS number

but how/where do i put this in on apples site?

There is a student section of Apple's site where you just tell them what school you go to and it trusts you. (You can only do it once though, IIRC)

edit: Booyah!

Apple doesn't care if you're lying. It's a waste of their time. Their profit margins are high enough already. (IIRC, Apple made more money than Dell a few quarters ago)
