How do I get scratch marks out?

I just got my refurb Samsung LN-3253 and there are a few scuff marks around the screen where it's glossy. Is there anything I can do to buff them out or am I out of luck?

I've used this stuff to repair scratches on monitors.

Start in a tiny spot and see if it works before applying to a larger area.

If its just a light scuff mark, then pick up a polishing cloth from somewhere that sells eye glasses.
