How do I get SATA drive to be C:?

I installed it with just an IDE DVD and it calls the SATA HD "H". Is there any way to get the HD as partition C before I load XP?

Do you have any USB mass storage devices connected to the usb header on the mobo? If so disconnect them, and try again.

I think when you install windows you need to specifically install the serial ata drivers when it says "press f2 for a third party ide driver"...then specify the serial ata drive for the windows installation.
