When I boot up I get a : "Push Ctrl S or F4 to Enter RAID Utility" it goes on to boot after i push a button or after about 5 it goes on automatically, but that annoys me. I don't have raid just one SATA drive. Its an A8N-SLI. Where do I disable this exactly?

In order to disable it, you have to disable the controller altogether which is not an option for you since you are running a drive off it. So, basically, you're stuck with it.

In the bios advanced settings, onboard device config. disable the silicon image raid controller.

I'm assuming you have your sata drive connected to one of the NV ports? If you have it connected to one of the silicon ports, you probabally shouldn't disable it in bios it might no longer recognize the drive.
