How do I get rid of that annoying auto update

Windows sux enufff. I need to get rid of that automatic update thing that pops up when i log on.And don't tell me to do a asearch becuzz i did.I put AUTOMATIC UPDATES

if u right click on it and gota update properties there is an option taht says "never remind me" or something of that nature

thats the first time it pops up. go through that then you should see the option

There is nothing that comes up when i rite klik

goto Start --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Automatic Updates

uncheck the "Keep my computer up to date" checkbox. (at least for win2k pro)

right click on "my computer" and then gota propertirs > automatic updates, adn uncheck the box
