How do I get rid of spyware?

I have spyware installed on my 'puter. Everytime I click on a certain site a "save" pop up will appear. I tried using the program from Lavasoft but it still doesn't get it off my 'puter.

HELP!
 
try a pop up stopper instead.

set your privacy in IE6 to refuse 3rd party cookies.

And empty your browser cache before scanning for spyware.
