Seems about every other night I see either a baby dead cockroach or a full sized one in the bathroom or the kitchen.

I have sprayed, cleaned the house of food wastes, and even began to speculate they are coming from the drains.

I've googled and not gotten any luck with whatever I find to prevent and get rid of.

AT please help me!!!!

In Mexico we used to crush them with palm tree branches with the leaves sheered off. Was good damn fun. Give that a try.

Better yet, capture one and torture him then release him alive so he can tell his buddies you mean business.

Just whatever you do, don't call an exterminator.

Do you live in the Philippines?

I've never encountered a Cockroach in my life, until I visited there.

Actually, I live in NYC and had a bit of a roach problem. My ex-roommates were total slobs ..Oye.. So I threw away every open food package and bought this combat roach control system - baited traps and a gel. Worked like a charm. Now I never see roaches.

Clean the house, seals all food in container/bags, seals garbage cans, and use borax, or commercial hydramethylnon bait.

Bait should be around for several months because it take a few months for the eggs to hatch.

man nyc is it just a s*hole? first rats in kfc ny now roaches all over :)

you should buy one of those things that has poison in them so when the roaches take it back to their colony they all die.
have you tried an exterminator?

That's what the combat bait does - it's awesome and works very, very well.

Have a fried roaches dinner and don't clean up after that, they will get the hint.

I lived in Florida. Until Combat baits came on the market, they were always everywhere. Get Combat. Make sure you get the size for the ones you say. American Cockroaches need a bigger trap than German ones.

Can't really ever get rid of them, they will out last us on this earth. They most likely live in the trees around your home, gl!

I had a problem in my mom's old house. She ended calling an extermintor. Worked pretty well.

Use lots of that bait stuff that they eat and take back to their buddies. Buy like 5 packs of it and put them in every corner of the house, and use a few in the kitchen by the cabinets and fridge.

If that doesnt work, call the Orkin man.

Yep, the gel stuff is the only thing that ever worked for me. After we moved out of our apartment (where absolutely nothing we could have done would have gotten rid of them), we set off a few bug bombs in the house, then laid down a bunch of the gel.
Now we've moved again and I haven't seen a roach in nearly two years.
