How do I get rid of Dead Pixels?

This one pixel is bothering me sooo much - Its like right there and I cant help but look at it :disgust:

How do I remove it? Apply pressure?

"massaging" the rear of the screen behind the dead pixel has been known to bring it back to life. I've never seen it work personally but my exposure to laptops is limited.

You might try putting a piece of black electrical tape over it. Then it wouldn't be such a distraction

Magic Marker would work. You could even use different colors depending on the background. Translucent, too.
