I can't get rid of this b@st@rd password no matter what I do, but I need to get into setup to make sure that the com ports are configured because P.O.S. windows 95 can't detect the mouse on a PS2/serial converter connected to the com port., (no, no ps2 port on this boat anchor).

Did you unplug the power supply? so no power goes through?

Also there are jumpers arent there?

HEHE, I didn't even think about the power supply..DOH.. and yes there are jumpers, but I'm not familiar with this motherboard. I'm doing this rebuild for a friend and without a manual, I'm a little skittish about changing any jumper settings.

But thanks for the advise.

Can't believe I forgot about the p.s. (kicks self in arse):p

Thanks again,
JR..

i'm interested in how this !Bios proggy works, how can you run it if you don't know the BIOS password and can't boot? or is it just the bios password to change settings ?
