How do i get regular sound back with K7S5A Mobo?

Just put in a new mobo: ECS K7S5A

However...my sound is not working with it...i have a soundblaster Live! card installed

I have another question...should i keep the computer speaker plugged into the mobo...it makes an irritating noise...trying to replace regular noise that sound card usually makes?

disable the onboard sound in bios, and make sure the speakers are plugged into the sound card and not into the headers on the motherboard itself
