I need to get PVM installed under the RedHat Linux 7.0
distribution I have running on my Intel box (dual proc
Tyan Tiger 100 motherboard).
A friend installed the standard RedHat Linux 7.0 on his
dual proc. Tyan -based machine and claims that PVM was
installed automatically. On my machine, I see no sign
of it.
One difference in our installations: He's running Linux
as the only OS on his machine, so he used the standard
Workstation install. I am dual booting with Windows OSes,
so I had to choose custom intall to avoid overwriting the
MBR. (Why couldn't RedHat offer the vanilla install
options with a button to simply keep LILO on the separate
/boot partition? Sheesh...)
Anyway, I'm not getting PVM on my machine.
Any suggestions?
