How do I get print sharing to work?

I have a laptop and a desktop sharing the same internet connection through a router. My desktop has a printer connected to it, and I want to print to it from my laptop. I have win98 on the desktop and winxp on my laptop, how do I get this print sharing to work?

Win98. Click My Computer, click on Printers, right click on the printer that you want to share, click on Properties, choose the Sharing tab, checked share, give it a name.

Important: The Shared Printer Drivers has to be installed on all computers that use this printer.

If done correctly the Network Printer will appear as a printer choice in the WinXP computer.
