How do I get out 'a here?

These forums are nice, but I can't seem to get back to the "old" Anandtech.com with the reviews and stuff that we may talk about in the first place. I've get another computer in the other room that can pull that stuff up. It's like there's a cookie that's forcing me to this forums stuff.

Have you tried typing 'www.anandtech.com' into your address bar and hitting the return key?

Click on the "AnandTech-computer hardware discussion forums" and/or computer picture in the upper left corner. You'll go right to the home page. Then bookmark it.

Yes, I did. I have anandtech in a favorite (which is from way before this trouble started) & can type it in in address line. Someone suggested to click the logo and the top left corner. I just get pushed back into these forums. Why is it doing this? I'd like to fix it before renaming the cookies folder.

Well, not that it matters, but I renamed my cookies folder and I still end up here. I guess without doing some serious throubleshooting, I'm stuck. I bet it has something to do with my WinProxy settings.

I figured it out!!!! If I type www2.anandtech.com, I get directed to the "real" anandtech.com with the reviews and the a like.

Here's what appears to be going on: On my non-firewalled machine, typing in www.anantech.com redirects to correctly to www2.anandtech.com. On my firewalled machine, if I put in www.anandtech.com, I'm places in this forums thing.

Maybe there's a bug in the re-direction code because this is the only web-site I've seen this problem with.
